Hi, Kilby Tigers!  I am Mrs. Van Zuiden and I am the ESOL teacher for kindergarten! I have been teaching ESOL to kindergarten students for two years at Kilby and the year before that at Neabsco.  Before that I worked as a kindergarten classroom teacher for 10 years and taught 1st, 3rd and 4th grades as well.  I have my master's degree in Literature and Reading from George Mason University and I am certified to teach Pre-K to 6, Reading Specialist, and ESOL.  I have been married for almost 40 years, have two adult sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters. In addition, I have my two fur babies Daisy and Kya.

I hope you are all well during this time.  If you would like to contact me, I would love to hear from you.  My office hours are Wednesdays at 10:00-10:30 and 3:00-3:30. You can also email me at vanzuiki@pwcs.edu.
