 Week of June 8-12, 2020
This is our last week of preschool. This week our theme/book is Hello Ocean/Hola Mar by Pam Munoz Ryan. Please see the optional weekly lesson tab for the activities related to this theme. This book is about a little girl's trip to the ocean made to come alive through the 5 senses. The sights, tastes, sounds, touch and smells the ocean and the beach have to offer are unlimited! If it is safe for you and your family, you may want to discover a beach near you this summer (it can be ocean or even river water). One thing I think we have all learned this year is to not take our time with family and friends for granted. Take in all the sights (beautiful smiles of your child/children), tastes (enjoy a meal with family), sounds (share a much needed laugh with a trusted friend), touch (give plenty of hugs to loved ones) and smells (even those stinky diapers won't last always) while you are here to enjoy it. I encourage you to not just take pictures this summer while you spend time with family and friends, but take the moments in breath by breath and create lasting memories. We will miss you all and hope that you keep learning and growing this summer.

With love, Ms. Kaila and Ms. Sasha.
